Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs all use of websites, internet access services, wireless connectivity, event deployments, managed networks, CCTV systems, communications platforms, hosted tools, equipment, and any related products or services provided by DAWN Systems LLC (“DAWN Systems,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
This Policy applies to all customers, subscribers, users, visitors, contractors, guests, employees, authorized users, and any person or entity using or accessing DAWN Systems services directly or indirectly.
Use of DAWN Systems services constitutes acceptance of this Policy.
1. Purpose of This Policy
The purpose of this AUP is to:
Protect customers and the public
Preserve network reliability and service quality
Maintain lawful and ethical use of services
Prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats
Protect infrastructure and equipment
Ensure fair use of shared resources
Support compliance with applicable laws and regulations
2. Lawful Use Requirement
Users may only use DAWN Systems services for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable:
Federal laws
State laws
Local laws
Tribal laws and regulations where applicable
Telecommunications regulations
Intellectual property laws
Privacy and data protection laws
Illegal use is strictly prohibited.
3. Prohibited Uses
Users may not use DAWN Systems services, systems, or equipment for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, disruptive, or unauthorized purpose.

Prohibited activity includes:
Unauthorized access to any device, account, server, application, or network
Password attacks or credential theft
Port scanning or vulnerability probing
Interception of communications
Spoofing IP addresses, caller ID, email identity, or domains
Denial of service (DoS / DDoS) attacks
Botnet activity
Malware command-and-control traffic
Circumventing authentication or security systems
Use of stolen or compromised credentials
Attempting to bypass bandwidth controls or usage limits
Tampering with provider equipment or monitoring systems
5. Malware, Harmful Code, and Unsafe Systems
Users may not distribute, host, transmit, or facilitate:
Viruses
Worms
Ransomware
Spyware
Trojan software
Keyloggers
Remote exploit tools
Malicious scripts
Backdoors
Harmful automation intended to compromise systems
Users must take reasonable steps to secure infected devices connected to the network.
DAWN Systems may temporarily isolate devices believed to present a security risk.
6. Fraud, Theft, and Misrepresentation
Users may not engage in:
Identity theft
Phishing
Social engineering scams
Financial fraud
Payment fraud
Chargeback abuse
False service claims
Misrepresentation of business identity
Use of stolen payment methods
False emergency requests
7. Harassment and Harmful Conduct
Users may not use services to:
Threaten individuals or groups
Harass or stalk others
Intimidate or abuse others
Transmit unlawful obscene content
Promote violence or criminal acts
Defame others unlawfully
8. Spam and Messaging Abuse
Users may not use DAWN Systems voice, SMS, chat, email, or related systems for:
Unsolicited bulk messaging
SMS spam
Robocalling abuse
Scam calls or texts
Lead list abuse
Message spoofing
Carrier policy violations
Auto-dialing in violation of law
Repetitive nuisance communications
Users must comply with consent requirements for marketing messages.
9. Intellectual Property Violations
Users may not use services to:
Infringe copyrights
Distribute pirated content
Circumvent licensing systems unlawfully
Misuse trademarks
Steal trade secrets or proprietary data
10. Excessive, Harmful, or Unfair Resource Use
DAWN Systems may manage shared resources to maintain service quality.
Users may not:
Generate traffic that materially harms other users
Overload access points or shared sectors
Operate abusive bandwidth consumption patterns that impair others
Create broadcast storms or loops
Use services in a manner causing persistent degradation
Reasonable network management, shaping, QoS, prioritization, and security controls may be used.
11. Resale and Unauthorized Redistribution
Unless expressly approved in writing, users may not:
Resell service
Share paid service commercially
Operate a hotspot business using DAWN Systems service
Extend service beyond authorized premises
Redistribute circuits to unrelated third parties
Use residential service for unauthorized commercial resale
12. Customer Premises and Equipment Responsibilities
Users are responsible for reasonable care of provider-owned or managed equipment.
Users may not without authorization:
Open sealed devices
Move mounted equipment
Modify antennas or radios
Replace firmware
Damage cabling
Remove labels or serial numbers
Interfere with monitoring tools
Lost, damaged, stolen, or unreturned equipment may result in charges.
13. Wi-Fi and Internal Network Security
Users are strongly encouraged to maintain secure internal networks.
Recommended practices:
WPA2/WPA3 encryption
Strong passwords
Updated routers
Guest network separation
Firewall use
Firmware updates
DAWN Systems is not responsible for unsecured customer-owned internal networks.
14. CCTV / Security Systems Use
Where DAWN Systems provides CCTV or security systems, users are responsible for lawful operation including:
Required signage where applicable
Privacy law compliance
Authorized camera placement
Consent requirements where required by law
Proper storage and handling of footage
Users may not use systems for unlawful surveillance.
15. Event / Temporary Deployment Use
For fairs, rodeos, festivals, construction sites, and temporary deployments:
Users may not:
Tamper with deployed equipment
Move generators, antennas, or cables
Connect unauthorized devices to managed infrastructure
Circumvent captive portals or payment controls
Create unsafe conditions around infrastructure
16. Third-Party Services and Upstream Providers
Some services depend on third-party carriers, fiber providers, satellite providers, utilities, tower owners, cloud platforms, or software vendors.
Users may not cause DAWN Systems to violate third-party provider policies.
17. Monitoring and Protective Measures
To protect networks, customers, and legal compliance, DAWN Systems may monitor network telemetry, logs, usage patterns, abuse reports, and service performance consistent with applicable law.
We may take reasonable protective actions including:
Traffic filtering
Rate limiting
Port blocking
Malware mitigation
Temporary quarantine of affected devices
Suspension of abusive activity
Service restrictions during emergencies
18. Investigations and Cooperation
DAWN Systems may investigate credible complaints or suspicious activity.
We may cooperate with:
Law enforcement
Regulators
Carriers
Rights holders
Security responders
Where legally required or reasonably necessary.
19. Violations and Remedies
Violations may result in one or more of the following:
Warning notice
Request for corrective action
Temporary suspension
Permanent termination
Equipment recovery
Re-activation fees
Civil claims for damages
Referral to authorities
Serious violations may result in immediate action without prior notice.
20. Account Holder Responsibility
The account holder is responsible for use of services by:
Family members
Employees
Tenants
Guests
Contractors
Anyone using the account, premises, credentials, or equipment
21. No Waiver
Failure to enforce any part of this Policy in one instance does not waive future enforcement rights.
22. Policy Changes
DAWN Systems may update this AUP periodically. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
